Governance Manager

​​​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a capable individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join Anthem’s National Team. Could you be Anthem’s next Governance Manager. 

Location: This is a hybrid role which can be based at one of our offices or schools, or home based with some travel to schools.  

Salary: ​​£29,439-£32,020

Contract: Permanent, Full time

The successful person will support the Director of Governance to ensure that all layers of Anthems’ Governance arrangements operate coherently. The successful candidate will have held a similar position previously and will be familiar with school governance and processes.

As Anthem’s Governance Manager you will be responsible for:  

  • ​Implementation and management of systems and processes for all aspects of governance, including coordination and record keeping of the governance annual cycle for Anthem Trustees in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.  

  • ​Coordinating the efficient delivery of local governance, by supporting the Local Governing Body network across Anthem’s network of 16 schools, including line management and support of Clerks. 

  • ​Under the direction of the Director of Governance, contributing to the evaluation of procedures at all levels of Trust and local governance to inform strategy and the implementation of effective processes and procedures.

  • ​Are an effective communicator, with the skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, providing accurate information and advice.  

  • ​Demonstrate a strong understanding of the importance of systems and processes, and capable of producing high quality and accurate records.
