Queensbury Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teacher in Maths, English or Science.
Full/part-time: Full or part-time available + INSET days. Full-time is 32.5 hours per week term time only (6.5 hours per day) or part-time position (3/4 days a week)
Salary scale: Level 3d Point 7-11 full-time equivalent salary £20,092 (pay award pending, pro rata for term time only 32.5hrs per week)
Start date: ASAP

We have an opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teacher in Maths, English or Science to join our popular and successful department that delivers an engaging and exciting KS3 and KS4 curriculum. The role provides a structured and supportive CPD programme to develop the successful candidate’s teaching skills and knowledge. The team consists of teachers with considerable industry experience and enthusiasm to leverage across all Key Stages. The departments are exceedingly well resourced and provide a stimulating environment where pupils actively engage in learning and behaviour is exemplary.
The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning. We are looking to recruit a colleague with both the commitment and relevant skills to drive our raising standards agenda across the whole ability range. This role offers opportunities to further extend their existing curriculum knowledge through potential experience in vocational and non-vocational KS5 courses alongside the CPD training.
