We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead Judith Kerr Primary School following the appointment of the current Headteacher to the headship of a new school in a neighbouring London borough.

Since opening in 2013, Judith Kerr Primary School has been providing a distinctive curriculum that offers a bilingual education to all. Inspired by its patron, children’s author Judith Kerr OBE, the school embeds both German and English languages, cultures and traditions in an inspiring and relevant way that challenges minds and raises aspirations.
Judith Kerr Primary School has been judged Good in both of its Ofsted inspections (2015 and 2019) and has many Outstanding features. Outcomes for Key Stages for 1 and 2 have been consistently Outstanding.
We are looking to appoint a Headteacher with a proven track record at senior leadership level in a high-performing primary school. You will have the passion and skill to deliver inspirational and motivational leadership across the school that will sustain and develop the established secure foundations and develop further outstanding performance in all areas of the school’s work. You will create a stimulating, nurturing, happy, safe and productive learning environment that is engaging and fulfilling for all pupils and continue to build teaching capacity by working collaboratively within the school, with local partnerships and with other schools across the Trust.
The ability to speak German is not essential for this role, although the successful candidate will be expected to lead and promote the unique and innovative curriculum of the school with its strong focus on the teaching and learning of German.
