Oxford Spires Academy are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team.

Hours per week: 37 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8-4pm Friday 8-3.30pm Term time only

Location: Oxford Spires Academy

Salary range: Grade 8 SCP 18-23 (£25419-28,226)

Start date: 1st September 2022

We are an oversubscribed and highly successful 11-19 academy in East Oxford. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor with drive, energy, and enthusiasm to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with young people.

Support staff at Oxford Spires Academy are full members of the school team and give highly effective support. The successful candidate will be a valued member of the teaching and support teams and will make a contribution to the wider ethos, values and culture of the school.
