School-based training with Teach First
Anthem is working in partnership with Teach First to provide School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) in our secondary schools. This one-year programme is for future teachers looking for full-time ‘hands-on’ training in schools close to your home.
You’ll be in the classroom from September 2024 and benefit from the support of a trained mentor. At the end of our programme, you’ll be awarded qualified teacher status (QTS) and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).
As a trainee, you’ll spend the majority of the week interacting with pupils and working as a member of the teaching staff in one of our four Thames Valley region secondary schools:
